Collective dynamics induced by inertia
The Kuramoto model has become the most popular to describe collective dynamics emerging in a wide range of complex systems, along with its variations. Among these models, the Kuramoto model with inertia has been extensively investigated in power grids. In this talk, I would like to introduce our two recent results on collective dynamics induced by inertia. Firstly, I will focus on the emergence of local synchronization (consisting of secondary synchronization, tertiary synchronization and so on termed with respect to their synchronization frequency) within the Kuramoto-desynchronization region in the globally coupled non-identical oscillators induced by inertia. Secondly, I will focus on how synchronization rates can be regulated by time delay, phase shift and inertia at a constant collective frequency. Especially, we consider linear dynamics near synchronized state and calculate the relaxation rate.
纪鹏，复旦大学类脑智能科学与技术研究院青年研究员，于2015年在德国柏林洪堡大学获得博士学位 （summa cum laude），之后在德国波茨坦气候研究所做博士后，导师Jurgen Kurths教授。主要研究非线性动力学，电网稳定性，基于二阶Kuramoto模型的同步和稳定性分析。目前以第一作者或通讯作者在Physics Reports，Physical Review Letters等期刊发表多篇SCI文章。
